Honoring our shared human experience

Founded by PaulaAt The Human Therapist, we believe effective therapy begins with honoring our shared human experience. Our practice is grounded in the idea that therapy is not just about addressing mental health concerns—it’s about connecting with each person’s unique story and creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Bamgbose-Martins, LPC, LCPC, The Human Therapist was created from a deep passion for mental health and a strong awareness of the systemic and trauma-related experiences that shape our lives. Our work is rooted in a person-centered, holistic approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.

We believe that no two journeys are the same. That’s why our work is collaborative and personalized, supporting each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals.

Our practice supports individuals navigating life’s complex and often challenging moments.
